International Author Travel Grants to IEEE MASS 2015

We are pleased to announce that IEEE MASS 2015 will provide a limited number of travel grants up to $500 to student authors from outside USA and few junior faculty members who have papers in MASS. The actual amount will depend on the number of applicants as the total amount is fixed. Thanks are due to the generosity of the IEEE Technical Committee on Distributed Processing and the Technical Committee on Simulation.

Applications must be submitted by e-mail to the MASS Steering Committee Chair, Dr. Dharma Agrawal, E-mail: by September 5th, 2015 electronically as a single integrated document, including W9 or W8 form. Award notifications will be sent out by September 14, 2015. Applicants should provide a one page statement concerning the expected benefits of attending the conference, the title of papers to be presented along with the list of authors, and reasons why support is needed. An endorsement letter from the advisor on a letterhead must also be included for each student applicant. The travel award is limited to one author per paper and priority will be given to junior researchers as per the order of co-authors.

Each awardee is required to register for the conference and stay in Wyndham Dallas Suites Park Central for a minimum of two nights. Travel by award recipient awardees must submit all reimbursement requests by November 7, 2015 including receipts for all claims and submit them electronically as a single pdf document. Once documents received from all applicants, recommendations with receipts will be transferred to IEEE Computer Society which will issue checks/direct money transfer to each applicant.
